I and my partner,Joel Houwer, are Mortgage Bankers with Universal Lending Corp in Denver Colorado but more importantly, we like to share information about the mortgage industy, the real estate industry, and the Denver area in general. I have been a Mortgage Banker in Denver for over 9 years. My father, Neal Afman, has been a Realtor in Denver for 39 years so I was raised in an environment were I learned a great deal about the in’s and out’s of buying and owning a home. My Dad always stressed the fact that if you are open and honest with your clients they will do business with you. That is why I want you to continue to visit this site so that you can learn more about the ever changing business of buying, selling and owning a home. Joel is actually my nephew and so he has that same background.

I have served in many capacities in my mortgage career. I was the Affiliate Council President at the Denver Board of Realtors for 2006. I also was honored with the Affiliate of The Year Award at the Denver Board of Realtors in 2006. I was just recently named the Affiliate of the Year for 2011 at the South Metro Denver Realtor Association (SMDRA).  I have also served as the Vice President of the SMDRA Affilitate Council of  in 2007, was a Superstart Award recipeant in 2007 and I am the President Elect for 2012.  My tage line is “Delivering Your Long Term Mortgage Needs With Honesty And Integrity” That is not just a sales pitch. I really live in that mentality when I go through my day and who knows, maybe that can help you in some way.
